Maria Espinoza has been selected as the 2022-2023 Anderson Elementary Support Employee of the Year!
Maria has worked for Tulsa Public Schools for almost 20 years. Most of them have been at Anderson where she is the building and grounds site supervisor. In this position, she ensures the school grounds are clean and safe. She is responsible for inspections, tracking inventory, maintaining equipment, and overseeing the night custodians.
"I like to work and enjoy what I do. I love to see the teachers happy when I can assist their needs in the classrooms," said Maria.
One of her nominators said: "She is one of the hardest-working people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. She takes pride in keeping Anderson looking its best. More than once we have had visitors remark on how clean the building is. She is always willing to help and always does her job with a smile."
